Goalless draw against OlympiakosNovember 1, 2017
Last night FC Barcelona played Olympiakos in the return leg of the Champions League groups stage. The match marked the return of Ernesto Valverde to the Karaiskakis Stadium. He previously managed the Greek side for three seasons.
Despite dominating possession in the way only Barça know how to do the Greek defence stood up to the battering delivered by the Catalans. It looked as if it was only a matter of time before Barcelona scored, but in the end the match ended goalless.
The result leaves Barcelona three points clear at the top of Group D on ten, with Juventus trailing in second with seven points. Out of the remaining two matches Barça needs just a draw to secure their place in the next round.
