Madrid knocks Barça into second place after win against Celta

May 18, 2017

Barcelona is now sitting in the number two spot of the Spanish league table after Madrid finally played catch up with their match against Celta de Vigo, postponed from February. That leaves Barça three points behind Real Madrid with just one more match of the season remaining. Barcelona plays Eibar at Camp Nou at 20:00 on Sunday, while Madrid plays away at Malaga at the same time. It’s a bit much to hope for Madrid to lose that match, but by Sunday this season’s league will be settled.
