June 11, 2015

Dani Alves is to stay at FC Barcelona after signing a deal that will extend his contract by two years with an option to remain for a third.

Uncertainty about his future has been going on for months, with his contract with the Catalan club finishing this month. Speaking to the press Alves said that the response from fans after winning the treble was part of the reason for staying, but also that Lionel Messi had asked him; “Where will you go that’s better than here?”
